What a snow visit covers

Snow removal is the service RWB started with and it is still what the phone rings for first. A visit tends to run in the same order. The plow clears the driving surface, walkways and steps get cleared where a plow cannot reach, and then salt or de-icer goes down so the surface does not glaze back over once the temperature drops after dark.

Storms that run long get more than one pass. Clearing a parking lot once at midnight does not help much if another four inches lands before the morning, so repeat visits are planned into the way a storm gets worked rather than treated as a second job.

Do you salt as well as plow?

Yes. Salting and de-icing are part of the same visit. Plowing moves the snow, and salt is what keeps the cleared surface from freezing into a sheet once the sun goes down.

Do you come back during a long storm?

Long storms get more than one pass. One visit at the start of a storm is rarely enough, so repeat passes are planned around how the storm is actually running rather than booked as separate jobs.

Do you plow parking lots and private roads?

Yes. Commercial parking lots, loading areas, apartment property and private roads are all part of the snow work, alongside residential driveways.

Are you available overnight and on holidays?
